UPDATED 1-25-2023
Hi Folks,
I've finally made some hobby progress and my reproduction US1 Trucking guide pins are available again. I did have quite a few of requests after I ran out, plus I wanted some more for myself too. Like the batch I made a few years ago, these are accurately machined using precision ground 17-4 stainless steel. These are made to the same dimensions as the originals only with a better quality material. Go to the "Offer 2" tab above to check them out.
I also made a small batch of tires for the Tyco Bandit Nissan Pickup. These are available as well on the same page. Again, I had a few requests, needed some for myself and started tinkering. Next thing I knew, I had made almost thirty sets before the mold gave out. I was actually surprised at how well the mold held up considering all the nubs on those tires. There are a few more items I managed to make that I've also added to the pages. Sorry, no new car bodies yet.
Other than this bit of progress, finding time for the hobby is tough. I have a lot of ideas for things I'd like to make and build. I also have a lot of unfinished projects. Maybe over the Christmas holiday, I can find some more time. I'd still like to finish my mini layout and post some pictures.
In the meantime, have fun collecting, building and racing your slot cars.

The Doctor is in...
Though I mainly focus on the Aurora T-Jet & AFX, I also enjoy collecting other vintage HO scale slot cars by Atlas, Tyco, Lionel, Marx, & Eldon. Recently, I've been collecting and building 1:32 scale cars as well... its just too fun not to.
Though straight up racing is fun, I find modelling cars, making scenery, and building fully landscaped layouts most enjoyable about the hobby. Molding and casting custom car bodies and parts is another aspect of the hobby I like but it can get challenging, labor intensive, and costly. It has taken me a good amount of trial & error to finally have reached the point where I am satisfied with the quality of my castings.
I have made some performance parts for the serious racers out there, namely my replacement shoe and brush springs for the T-Jet and AFX chassis. They are FRAY approved and even won the HO Product of the Year award in 2009. I'm very thankful to all the racers who use my springs and help me keep them available for the hobby.
Happy Motoring!
